OC: Kari Dawn Hayden / Karihime

Kari Dawn, one of the most stellar summoners of the present era. She rose to the rank of Ascendant Summoner at a young age and was mantled the youngest of all Ascendant Summoners that came before her.

She and Chieuebasse Alteisen or Chiyu, were childhood friends. Both were sired of noble bloods, and the best of friends. What Lady Kari lacks in physical prowess like Chiyu's, she is well-versed in magic and very talented too. She can execute a spell without any incantations or even uttering the spell's name. It comes out as she wills it so. Kari would be considered a bookworm nerd while Chiyu's much of a cheerleader/jock.

Kari and  got separated when she was chosen to be the next in line of the Summoner lineage. More than 10 years later, the two would meet again for the first time in a long time. Only the both of them had forsaken their noble lineage and both of them now following their own paths. 

With them being the dearest of friends, they're both dearest of rivals also. Chiyu and Kari would clash in epic duels of might against magic. The two take pleasure of showcasing their unrestrained and unfaltering combat prowess to one another as a show of their respect and love to one another.

But fate has it, that the two would again be separated as Kari walked the aisle with the man he loves the most. For many years, they had not seen each other again. Kari then was blessed with a beautiful young daughter. A portrait of a happy family.

After what it seemed like a happy ending for her, Kari's husband disappeared without any permission or trace and never came back ever since. Leaving her and her 15 year old daughter alone and longing for his presence.

Kari, then again, after so many years, sought out Chiyu again. Her only friend and the person she can trust. Much to her sadness and shock, Chiyu already passed away many years ago without her knowing. She and her daughter, who is now a full-fledged woman, now felt alone. With his husband's disappearance, and her dearest friend's death; she slowly crumbled into an oblivion full of sadness.

Until one day, Kari found out that her friend, Chiyu, had a son. And his name was Wolve R. Alteisen or Alt. Even more to her shock that his father was her lost husband; whom even now was still missing. She felt devastated, betrayed. Even though it hurts her so to know that her lost husband bore a child with her closest friend, she tried to accept the hard facts that not everything can have a happy ending. She saw the boy with disgust and hatred, a destructive factor to her family. She then realized that it was unfair to the boy as Alt also always wanted a family; and he had nothing to do about the matter. Kari knew if she treat the boy like it was a mistake for Alt to be born then she would be worse than the ones she was trying to hate.

And so, Kari adopted Alt, and treated him like he was her flesh and blood, a part of her family, since the man was all alone like she was and longed for a family he can come home to and not commit the same mistakes as others. This is also to do her dear friend, Chiyu a favor, as a sign of her forgiveness to her once closest friend, who now passed away.
